San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies were called to a traffic collision in Victorville early the other morning.
A man driving a Ford lost control of his vehicle and crossed over into oncoming traffic - crashing head-on into a Toyota. Upon impact, both vehicles burst into flames.
The driver and passenger in the Toyota were able to get out of the car and suffered moderate to major injuries. The driver of the Ford was not able to escape and was pronounced dead.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Region II/Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating to determine the cause of this fatal accident and to determine if alcohol and/or drugs were a factor.
