A 51-year old woman connecting to westbound Highway 60 from southbound Interstate 15 apparently lost control of her vehicle, causing it to overturn.
The auto veered to the right, crashed through the guardrail and then rolled over. The woman was not wearing a seatbelt. She sustained fatal injuries.
An investigation is underway to determine what caused her to crash. Officials are looking into the possibility of amechanical malfunction or driver negligence. They are also checking to see if she was run off the road by another driver. If the investigation proves that the accident was a result of a vehicle defect or malfunction, the manufacturer of the product could be held liable.
I urge the family to contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who has a success rate in automobile product liability cases - one who will explain their rights and options to them.
