The holiday weekend did not start well for a 57-year old Hesperia woman. She was killed in a four-vehicle accident, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities believe the woman may have suffered a medical condition, which led to the accident. She was driving west when she lost control of her automobile and crossed into eastbound lanes. The action caused her to hit a pickup truck then an auto. It also caused the pickup to hit another vehicle.
The San Bernardino Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating to determine what caused this woman's death.
The woman was taken to a nearby trauma center and pronounced dead shortly after.
