The freeways in and around Southern California were unfortunately filled with accidents over the 4th of July holiday weekend.
One accident took place north of Payson on Highway 87. A vehicle driven by a 27-year old man went off the highway for unknown reasons. As he was going off the road, he lost control and landed in the opposite direction - crashing into an SUV.
There were two passengers; a 26-year old woman and a 77 year-old man. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for head trauma.
The accident is under investigation to determine what caused the driver to go off the road, ultimately killing his two passengers.
Depending on the results of the investigation, I suggest the families of the two victims contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney to determine if they can receive compensation for a wrongful death.
