It is unknown why an SUV with two men traveling on the northbound side of Interstate 15 in San Bernardino crashed into the center divider the other morning.
After the vehicle came to a stop, another SUV crashed into the back end of the first SUV; the impact caused both vehicles to go over the side of the freeway and burst into flames. Firefighters found the dead bodies of both men in the first SUV.
California Highway Patrol officers are investigating to determine what caused this fatal accident to happen - why the first SUV crashed into the center divider and why the second SUV did not stop in time to avoid crashing. Without this information, they cannot determine who was at fault in the end.
If your loved one is killed in an accident, it would be wise for you to contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who can determine if you should file a wrongful death lawsuit against the responsible party and receive compensation for your loss and expenses incurred.
