For those who purchase the already made salads by Ready Pac Foods, read on. Ready Pac Foods has recalled more than 5,000 cases of bagged salad because of a possible E.coli contamination. According to the Food and Drug Administration, these bags of romaine lettuce mixes were distributed to 15 Western states, including California.
The recall took place after a random government test was performed that showed contamination. The bagged salads have a sell-by date of November 18.
