Nissan has issued a recall for approximately 23,000 Quest minivans manufactured from July 2010 through February 2012 due to a fuel delivery problem that could cause the vehicle to stall.
The problem could appear when the vehicle has less than a quarter of a tank of gas and is driven downhill at low speeds. Nissan dealers will reprogram the fuel pump control module to correct the possible problem.
In addition, Nissan is recalling approximately 5,700 2003 through 2005 Infiniti Q45 luxury sedans to correct a problem with excess resistance in the airbag wiring that could possibly prevent the side curtain airbags from deploying.
If not fixed or replaced, these vehicle defects could cause catastrophic injuries or death. If you have one of these vehicles, you could be facing serious danger if you suddenly stall on a freeway.
