San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner's officials reported that a 69-year old Apple Valley man was killed after he lost control of his vehicle, side-swiped an oncoming vehicle and crashed into a tree.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver sustained injuries, but not serious ones. Apple Valley's Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the accident to determine what caused this man to lose control of his automobile.
