The U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, after receiving eight complaints about children falling off the chairs and suffering injuries, has issued a recall for Even Flo's convertible children's high chairs.
Reports indicate that the tray on the high chairs can detach, causing the child to fall. The company has received about 20 reports of trays detaching. Luckily there have been no serious injuries, just bumps and bruises. Toys R Us and Wal-Mart stores have sold about 35,000 of these potentially dangerous chairs since December, 2011.
