Every year thousands and thousands of consumers get sick from defective products or foods found in retail stores. Tanimura & Antle, a California produce supplier, has voluntarily recalled more than two thousand cases of romaine lettuce that has been shipped to 18 other states besides California over fears about possible E. coli contamination.
The recall is limited to a single lot of its Field Fresh Wrapped Single Head Romaine that started selling in retail stores on August 2. The plastic bag may have a "best by" date of August 19 on it.
The company has not received any reports of illness thus far. However, if you believe that you or a loved one has gotten sick after eating some of this lettuce, contact a San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who has been successful in handling product liability cases and will do everything possible to provide you with the legal guidance you deserve.
