A 59-year old Yucca Valley man on his motorcycle was killed the other night after he was struck by a vehicle that had drifted into his lane and struck him head-on.
The other vehicle was driven by a 55-year old man; a 41-year old woman was a passenger in that vehicle. The motorcycle was traveling between 55 and 65 miles per hour when the vehicle hit the front portion of it, throwing the motorcyclist from the bike. He was thrown against the vehicle's windshield and roof before coming to a stop on a dirt shoulder of the road.
The driver and his passenger were taken to a nearby hospital after complaining about pain.
