An ambulance transporting a critical patient to a hospital in Upland collided with another vehicle and injured two other people - a male driver and a young boy. They were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Every year countless people rely on ambulances to transport them to hospitals during emergencies. Critical people are in the hands of ambulance drivers who must race to a nearby hospital to ensure that the person receives the medical attention they need. Unfortunately, ambulances also get into accidents, causing additional injuries to their passengers or people in other vehicles. When ambulance drivers race through traffic on public roads, the chances of an accident happening can increase immensely.
Upland police are investigating to determine what caused this accident.
