Every year thousands of people are injured and killed in automobile accidents on California roads. Many happen as a result of reckless or careless driving by the driver or another vehicle.
A rollover accident near Needles killed a 5-month old baby early the other morning.
When The California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene of the accident, they found an SUV that landed on its roof with three people standing outside and two people trapped inside. An infant was pronounced dead at the scene. Four people were taken by air to close-by hospitals.
Officials are investigating to determine what caused this fatal accident.
