Blair LLC, the popular mail-order catalog that comes to your home, has expanded a defective product recall that involves women chenille robes.
The recall was issued after the company received reports of nine deaths after the robes caught fire; apparently, they failed to meet Federal flammability standards. The recall has now been expanded to include not only the chenille robes, but other chenille products such as lounge jackets and tops.
According to reports, most of the deaths occurred when a woman was cooking. The flames traveled up the robes and caused serious burn injuries.
If you or a family member has been injured as a result of one of these products or any other product, it would be wise for you to contact a San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who has handled other product liability cases and will make sure the manufacturer is held liable for your injuries and the expenses incurred because of them.
