A tour bus carrying a group of people who spent the day skiing at Big Bear crashed into a pickup truck pulling a trailer on the way down the mountain. The passengers originated from Tijuana, Mexico.
Eight people were reported killed while approximately 40 others were injured. The injured people were taken to a local hospital with minor to life-threatening injuries.
Reports indicate that the bus driver said he was having brake problems as he drove down the mountain road. He apparently rear-ended a sedan then flipped over and crashed into the pickup truck.
