This week there was news of a tragic accident involving a young boy and a Metrolink train in Riverside.
The California Highway Patrol reported that a 44-year old man from Rancho Cucamonga riding his bicycle on Glendora Mountain Road recently crashed into a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by a 56-year old man.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, a 19-year old motorcyclist was killed in Rancho Cucamonga recently when he collided with a Toyota passenger vehicle. The accident happened in the intersection of Milliken Avenue and Church Street.
State Highway 18 was the scene of several accidents this past week when fog rolled into the Lake Arrowhead community. The first accident was a head-on collision between a passenger vehicle and a pickup truck at the beginning of the week. The impact caused the truck to go over the guardrail and flip on its side; it did not go down the hillside. The passengers were trapped briefly. The highway lanes were blocked while emergency crews cleaned up the debris.
