Illegal group home in San Bernardino - Elder Abuse

Did you hear about a 71 year old man, who drowned in a swimming pool in a group home? The group home is own by a 61 year old woman. The woman was arrested on suspicion of 16 felony counts of elder abuse, not to mention an unlicensed board and care facility.

It is alleged that 22 disabled and mentally ill people lived in converted chicken coops and used buckets for toilets. I would like to know where the families of these people are. How can they allow these people to live this way?

Authorities are investigating. The victim's children are suing a woman for the death of their father. Even though the victim suffered from dementia, alcoholism and a hip fracture, he should not have been given alcohol or left unsupervised to drown.
