Did you hear about the small plane that crashed in Joshua Tree National Park not too long ago? It was on its way to Palm Springs when the crash took place. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's office reported that airport officials lost contact with the aircraft about 10 miles northeast of Palm Springs.
The Park rangers found the wreckage and the two occupants were alive. However, both were in critical condition and were taken by air to a trauma center for treatment. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration. They believe weather may have caused the crash since storms were reported in the area.
