As a reminder for those who already know and for your information for those who aren't aware - especially in this rainy weather - the entrance to the eastbound 210 from the southbound 215 freeway can be dangerous.
The transition is a 270 degree loop and if that isn't bad enough, the view to the left is impeded by concrete barriers, which may have been put there to prepare for a few days of construction work. The transition gives the driver less than 200 yards to change lanes or the driver is forced to exit onto the northbound 215 freeway.
The California Highway Patrol has reported that because of the construction on the freeway, accidents have increased significantly. Officers are patrolling the area, making sure laws are being enforced.
I am urging all motorists to drive carefully; construction will be underway for the rest of this year. Caltrans reports that the connectors from the northbound 215 to the westbound 210 and from the eastbound 210 to the southbound 215 should be completed by the first quarter of 2012.
In the meantime, if you are involved in an automobile accident because of construction of any other reason, contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who can investigate the case for you.
