Two people out for a relaxing Sunday ride ended up with a tragic day.
The driver tried to change lanes on the 15 Freeway and lost control of his car, making the car swerve, overturn and hit a fence. The two were thrown out of the vehicle.
California Vehicle Code Section 22107 states, "No person shall turn a vehicle from a direct course or move right or left upon a roadway until such movement can be made with reasonable safety and then only after the giving of an appropriate signal".
San Bernardino Police are investigating to determine what caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle, causing his passenger's death.
The passenger was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead; the driver's condition is unknown at this time. Upon investigation results, the family should contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney to see if they can file a wrongful death lawsuit.
