According to the San Bernardino County Coroner's office, a 19-year old man lost control of his vehicle near Barstow over the weekend, resulting in his death.
After losing control, his vehicle crossed the center divider and literally flew into the air, striking the side of a tractor trailer truck. When the car flipped, the man was thrown from his vehicle; officers said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
There were three passengers in the vehicle that suffered minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
