Fatal accident at a construction site

Every year thousands of construction workers are killed or seriously injured on the job even though many California and Federal regulations require safety measures to be implemented at the workplace. Construction sites can be a very dangerous place because of the heavy equipment and other hazards found there.

Man killed in a motorcycle accident

According to The Victorville Daily Press, a 59-year old motorcyclist lost control of his bike and crashed, causing him to be tossed onto the road. He was taken to a local hospital where he died the following morning from the injuries he suffered.

Vehicle crashes into a fuel pump

The weekend did not end well for one San Bernardino driver who backed into a fuel pump at a gasoline station. He not only ignited a gas station fire that incinerated his car and the gas pump, but he left his burning car near the station and fled the scene.

Passenger vehicle collides into a tractor-trailer

A 20-year old Rancho Cucamonga man driving through a construction zone the other morning, for unknown reasons, struck several orange cones as he changed lanes, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.

Fatal pedestrian accident in Joshua Tree

Another pedestrian has been killed while on a roadway. This time it was a 31-year old woman who was hit by a sheriff's patrol car in the community of Joshua Tree.

Toy trucks recalled

The U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced that Toy Truck Gifts, which were sold at Kohl's stores between February and March 2012, are being recalled for a potential fire hazard.
