Vehicle collides into a school bus

It was recently reported that five children were injured when a vehicle collided with their school bus, causing the bus to crash into a wall of a building.

Police indicated that the woman driving the other vehicle appeared to be intoxicated. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

California Vehicle Code Section 23152(a) states, "It is unlawful for any person who is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage or drug, or under the combined influence of any alcoholic beverage and drug, to drive a vehicle."

It was lucky that none of the children sustained life-threatening injuries. It would be wise if the families of the children contacted an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who can seek compensation for damages such as medical expenses, rehabilitation and pain and suffering.
