Man killed on the 60 freeway in Ontario

A 30-year old man who stopped on the shoulder of the 60 Freeway in Ontario to change a tire was hit and killed by a tractor-trailer truck.

Officials are investigating to determine what caused this fatal accident. They are asking questions as to why the trucker drifted onto the shoulder of the road. Was he distracted or fatigued? Was he speeding or being reckless? Was there a malfunction or mechanical problem in the truck?

If it is determined that the trucker is to blame for this man's death, the driver and the truck company can be held liable for the man's wrongful death. I hope the family of the victim consults with an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who can help them seek compensation for their loss, including medical and other expenses.
