Skateboarder injured

Did you hear about the woman who not only ran over a 16-year old skateboarder and dragged him for about 10 to 15 feet but then fled the scene?

Reports indicate that a young boy fell from his board and the woman ran over him. A witness saw the incident and ran over to the driver, pounding on her window. The woman not only did not get out of her vehicle, but she accelerated, hit the young boy again and left the scene. The victim, who collapsed after attempting to get up and run after the vehicle, was taken to a nearby hospital where he received stitches in his stomach and now suffers from a chipped pelvic bone and scrapes on his knees and elbows.

Police are investigating the accident and once the driver is found, she will be charged with felony hit-and-run. She will also be responsible to the victim for compensation of his injuries, medical expenses, and pain and suffering. It would be wise if the parents of this young boy contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who can investigate the case for them.
