Recall on Globe bicycles

A recall has been announced by specialized Bicycle Components, Inc. for approximately 12,000 defective bicycles. The company has received four reports of injuries that include facial fractures, head and shoulder injuries and lacerations.

The recall includes Globe bicycles from 2008 and 2009, which were sold from July 2007 through July 2012. The defective bikes have a front fork that can break off and cause the rider to fall down and get injured. The company is asking consumer who have a recalled bike to take them to an authorized dealer for replacement of the faulty fork at no cost.

If you or a loved one is injured as a result of a defective bicycle part, contact a San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who has been successful in handling product liability cases. You may be entitled to file a lawsuit against the manufacturer and receive compensation for your injuries and medical expenses.
