Vehicle crashes into an aqueduct

San Bernardino County Sheriff's officers are investigating a Hesperia man who allegedly drove his vehicle into an aqueduct in the early morning hours and then left the scene.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the vehicle, but no driver. After determining who the registered owner of the vehicle was, they located the man. The man admitted that he lost control of his vehicle, crashed through a guardrail and into the aqueduct.

They believe the man may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. He was not seriously injured. The man was not arrested; however, a case for hit-and-run will be forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney's office for review.

The man was lucky that he did not injure anyone in the process. If you are injured by a negligent driver, contact an experienced San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will investigate your case to determine if you are entitled to compensation for any injuries or damages incurred.
