Pedestrian accident can be fatal

Whenever an automobile collides with a pedestrian, the chances are that the pedestrian will be severely injured, if not killed. Even if the vehicle was not traveling at a high freeway speed, a pedestrian accident can result in severe injuries, such as broken bones, fractures, back injuries, paralysis, or brain damage.

A 33-year old Hesperia man was struck by a vehicle on the 15 Freeway in Victorville the other night. He suffered multiple traumatic injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Oftentimes it is difficult to assert the legal responsibility for a pedestrian accident because drivers will try to blame the victim for the accident - claiming that he or she was negligent while traveling on the freeway. In this case, what was the man doing on the 15 Freeway?

If you or a loved one has been injured or killed in a pedestrian accident, it is wise to contact a skilled San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who will fight for the compensation due to you for your medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering or wrongful death.
