Trains collide - many injured

Have you read about the two trains in Connecticut that collided and injured about 60 people?

Even though this happened across the country, it could happen right here in Southern California - in San Bernardino County.

Two commuter trains with about 700 passengers on board collided during the rush hour one Friday night. A train leaving New York City to Connecticut derailed. It was hit by another train heading towards New York on an adjacent track. The collision sent about 60 people to the hospital - five with critical injuries.

Investigators from The National Transportation Safety Board did not know what caused the first train to derail. They have no reason to believe it was anything other than an accident. Potential causes could include mechanical failure, track debris, or driver inattention.

If you are involved in an accident while on a commuter train, it is wise to contact a high skilled San Bernardino Personal Injury attorney who can look at the facts surround the crash. Contact an experienced attorney at Peach & Weathers who will make sure the responsible party is held accountable for your damages and expenses
